Not holding up all that well

This bed was great when I got it. It was a replacement for a defective one. After 2-3 months, though, it started to break down. Now the foam is compressed on the side where I usually sleep. It's MUCH different from the side I rarely sleep. I dutifully rotate the mattress every 2 weeks or so, but that doesn't help. I have my indentations with either orientation. It's not as comfortable and is not as good for my back. This is my biggest disappointment. I note that the first Nest mattress I got that was defective exhibited that same indentation very quickly. I can still sleep on this mattress, but I don't believe I will buy another Nest.

Pros:

  • Initial Comfort

Cons:

User also said: Breaking down over time. See comments above about indentation.
  • Surface Integrity

Hi Laura, We use 2.0 lb base foam. For reference, $3-5k Tempurpedics use 1.5 lb base foams. Our 4 lb foams in the top layers are the highest quality bar none. It is highly unlikely to impossible they would be breaking down. Defective perhaps but not wearing down. We use only the finest quality available. That said, I am not disputing nor dismissing your experience, only that there are likely extenuating circumstances. Are you using an older style box spring or flexible slats? Are you using a protector? Email me at Joe [at] nest bedding [dot] com, let's get you checked out. As you can see here on GoodBed.com, we have hundreds and hundreds of satisfied and happy customers, let's have a chance to turn your frown upside down please.
