Finally A Good Night's Rest

Wife and I had been sleeping on a $400 foam mattress from an online retailer that I had bought back in my single days. It worked as intended for 3-4 years but began to sink too much and we found ourselves hot and tossing and turning. When we started shopping for a replacement, we wanted to move up to king size but was taken aback at the in-store prices of even the "cheap" mattresses. I started digging into sleeplikethedead.com and sleepopolis.com and came across several well reviewed manufacturers. Eventually, settled on the idea of having some more bounce would be nice as compared to a full-foam unit and was hoping to sleep a bit cooler as well. In walks in the idea of a Hybrid. Once that decision was set, the Nest Alexander Hybrid seemed to offer a ton of quality for a decent price. Ordered and delivered within a week. However, the springs on the first unit were mistakenly put into the bed, leaving us with an ultra soft mattress that you sink almost all the way through. I was scared we had made a mistake. The owner of Nest, Joe Alexander, ended up calling me after I wrote an e-mail and after checking the tag to confirm the incorrect spring, he shipped me a new mattress without missing a beat. We donated the first unit to a women's shelter and the rest has been great-sleeping history!
