NO

DO NOT BUY this. It is not at all like a foam mattress , I wake up with a sore back every day. Feels like a regular bed. If you want to return it you have to wrap it in plastic, find a box to fit the mattress and box spring separately, send it back then wait to see if they approve of the condition of the mattress. HORRIBLE mattress. DO NOT BUY. I hate this thing. I want a decent foam mattress. I have always liked them but hated this one from day ONE!!! I sink at my middle and my feet stick up. The very thing I avoid in regular mattresses!!!

This review looks suspect to me.

I agree, sounds like someone who works at 'Sleepys'

This company doesn't use a box spring

Does not sound as if Customer Service was given a chance to correct any situation the reviewer complained about.

Sounds like someone who had the same experience as myself. Box spring I am sure was just a term applied to the bottom half of the "mattress". She could have said base. She is correct ,you have to find a box to fit the mattress to return, very difficult to say the least. Customer service is great up to point of sale. But drops the ball after that. I am thinking that is why they have a low return rate. I am considering keeping the mattress just because Customer service told me if I drive the mattress and BASE back to the company I still have to put it in a box. They have a whole shipping and packing division for these mattress. I have no actual way to reduce the foam back into their shipping box. I am guessing that the cost of a mattress box from a moving company would run around 50. or 60. a box. What a joke. I regret this purchase and wish I had purchased from a location where I could have touched, seen and felt the mattress before I paid 2 grand.

Myself and everyone I know who has one loves it! Sounds like this person bought the least expensive model shout a firmer support and weighs 350lbs.

He is correct. The return policy seems to be set up in a way that makes it so difficult to return that most people would not bother to try. We finally used a shop vac to suck the bed back down to size so it would fit in the box. I would also agree that the bed feels nothing like memory foam. However, the quality and price of the bed do make it an alternative for someone on a budget.

As my grandsons put it .... Christeli beds suck! AVOID at all costs! Bought the $2599 Palais Grand Royale since the "eager" salesman assured me that it was a super soft mattress. The bed is and was far from soft. It was like sleeping on a cement floor. Grandma's joint can't take sleeping on anything as hard as a cement floor. Called to return the bed. Customer service lady was rude and said we had to wait 40 days before sending the bed back, said it had to be reboxed and sent back to Christeli. No way in hell grandma is going to repackage all parts of this mattress. Got two grandson, 6'3" and 6'5" and over 240 LBS a piece to get the bed parts repackaged in boxes and it took them over 2 hours and several torn/expensive boxes to do so. Worst experience buying a mattress. Also, bought a Yogabed before Christeli. That bed was softer than Christeli but still way too firm. Yogabed was gracious with the return by having St. Vincent De Paul Society pickup the mattress and donating the mattress to that organization. The mattress was not great but at least their return policy wasn't impossible like Christeli's is. After all the online shopping, I grew wise, went to a mattress showroom and bought an Aireloom Plush mattress. I am very happy. The Aireloom mattresses are super expensive (at least for my budget) but are well worth the price, especially if you and your joints need a softer mattress. I paid $3100 for the Aireloom. A bit over my budget but it should last me the rest of my life (25 year warranty) and is like sleeping in a cloud. No joint pain, no physical therapy needed anymore because of joint pain. To summarize, AVOID Christeli at all costs! Terrible products, terrible staff and a terrible return policy. Very much a Better Business Bureau/State Attorney General Complaint-worthy experience to say the least. Yogabed, ok .... but not soft mattresses. Staff and return policy are very good and gracious. Save the hastle and go to your local mattress showroom and try a bed that's right for you. So many options that you're bond to find one that fits, even if your budget is not huge.
