Probably better for lighter people

I wanted to love this mattress. I really liked that it was made in US at a factory in my state. It's a beautiful mattress, seems well made, and has a nice height. We bought the plush version as my husband and I are mostly side sleepers and needed pressure point relief. Our old mattress was a plush euro top that was 10+ yrs old and well past its prime, so this Luft bed felt wonderful in comparison. At first anyway. The first few nights I slept terrible, tossing and turning, but pain was slightly better, so i figured it's just a matter of getting used to the new bed. As the days go by I start to feel like my shoulder, ribs and hips are resting directly on the coils, the pain it causes gets worse and worse. My husband says he feels like we are sleeping on our old mattress. We are both heavier people and I think if there was just a bit more foam before the coils it would be fine but as it is we are both bottoming out. Motion transfer has only been slightly better. Edges are nice and firm, so no fear of rolling out. Sleeps nice and cool so far.
