I previously owned a Tempurpedic which my husband and I loved. I purchased the Kingsdown mattress at Leons. The salesman assured me it was the best they sold apart from the Tempurpedics. Being in my mid 60’s and suffering from severe arthritis and herniated discs, I really wanted a bed that would provide lasting comfort and support and I was willing to pay the price for it. It felt very comfortable when we tried it in the store and for the first 10 or 11 months. I was assured that there were reinforced edges that would not collapse along with the rest of the sales pitch. In under a yr we noticed that the sides had begun to collapse, first mine and then his. We rotated the mattress routinely as we were advised. Unless you’re sleeping in the middle of the bed, you feel like it’s a uphill climb to turn/move towards the middle. I called Leons and they said they could do nothing about it. The attitude was that they couldn’t care less. I can’t believe that I paid so much money for such an inferior product. 🙁
