Completely Fell Apart

Wasn't expecting much from a twin size mattress for the kids bed, and still this may have been the worst mattress we've ever purchased. We bought two of these mattresses in the fall of 2014. It is now fall/winter of 2017 and one is in lousy condition and the other is literally unusable. My fairly light kids (both well under 100 lbs) somehow still squashed these things flat. One was was lumpy and saggy within a year and, at this point, you can feel every spring in both of the mattresses. They're lumpy, the wire frame holding them together somehow bent on one of them and now the mattress won't lay flat. I thought I'd get away with tossing a mattress topper the worse of the two, but now the fabric has separated from the body of the mattress, one spring has broken and is coming through the fabric on both the top and bottom. Kids are kids and I know they haven't been perfect gentle angels, but this level of destruction from normal kid wear and tear is ridiculous for a three-year-old mattress. The warranty on these, I later found out, is a year and "comfort impressions" (i.e. where it sags like hell from where you laid on it) are considered normal unless they're more than 1.5 inches deep.... Save yourself the hassle and buy something else from a different company. We bought 2 of these and they're both headed for the landfill 3 years after purchase.
