Mattress is to heavy for it's poor construction. Consider the fact that any mattress needs to be rotated or it will compress. Rotating this mattress is necessary or it will compress. Warranty clearly states it does not cover Handles or exterior covering's. Which I unfortunately missed before making the purchase. Do not attempt to move or rotate by use of the handles. It Will tear the stitching along the sides of the cover and the manufacture will not cover it under warranty. There are equally comfortable mattress with better build quality at equal to lower prices. I write this review to warn those considering this mattress. As this was not something I considered. I expected the handles that are sewn on the sides to be stitched well enough to handle the mattresses weight. They are not your mattress cover will tear. Why would they put handles on the sides incapable of handling the weight of even rotating? If these are not your concerns then by all means this is a fairly comfortable mattress.

Handles are used to rotate and to help make the bed. Not for transportation.
Apparently you didn't read my review. If you attempt to rotate this mattress using the provided handles it will tear the stiching. Not sure where you read I was attempting to transport the matress as that was not the case. Maybe you should buy the matress and see for yourself. Clearly you do not own this mattress.

Interesting take here, we haven’t had a handle rip in ages. Please send photos to info [at] springair [dot] com for our review along with a photo of the law tag. We would love to see the issues your having as it’s very uncommon.
I was a mattress salesman for eight years and was always instructed by the manufacturers that the handles were for positioning not for flipping back in the day when flipping was common place. Handles should be able to handle rotating on the bed with out damage to the stitching, otherwise why bother having handles at all.
