We wanted soft - but this is WAY too soft

We came from a memory foam soft mattress, so we were looking for something similar but we better warranties and something that will last more than 5 years. We found great reviews about this mattress. Shopping and shipping was excellent. But the mattress itself it is way too soft. We felt like we had a hole (similar to our OLD mattress - reason why we are shopping for a new mattress). I am 155 pounds, 5'6. Now consumer reports says it is VERY durable, so we were happy with that but too bad it is too soft. We will be returning this mattress.

Could be softer for a side sleeper

I'm a side sleeper who suffers from insomnia, but the right bed can cure that. I got an Englander bed 10 years ago that was the perfect bed - I never had a restless night on that bed - ever. And that's the first time I could say that in my life. They stopped making that bed, otherwise I would have bought it again. This bed is similar to that one, but a bit too hard. I'm hoping over time that it softens up, because I don't sleep through the night like I did on the previous one. Also, I sometimes get sore in certain areas on this bed and have to move a lot.

Mattress has hump in middle already. Can't move from where b

This mattress is less then a year old and already has sunk way down where we sleep. There is a hump in the middle that makes it difficult to move out of any position. We rotate it constantly but it does not help. Not satisfied with this bed at all! Has made severe back pain worse. Usually sleep on my side but fall asleep on my back because I can't move out of the deep groove that's been created. I'm not even a heavy person. I'm 125. Very disappointed as I did a ton of research for a new mattress and this company claimed this bed would last at least 10 years.

Two in Bed but Feels like just one

I shopped forever, since there are so many choices and everyone seems to have a different opinion about which one is best. I decided I did not have anything to lose since I could send it back if I did not like it. I gave my $4000 memory foam bed to my daughter and took a chance with Wink beds. The delivery (that they outsourced) was awful and total miscommunication. However, the bed has been amazing. If I could do anything different I would get the one that was not so tall, since I have a hard time getting sheets to fit. I have arthritis and back problems and my husband could not sleep on his side on our previous bed. because his hips hurt so bad. This bed has been great and we both agree that it was a great choice.

Best Mattress EVER!

I finally got tired enough of waking up with an aching back and having to turn multiple times in the night due to my hips hurting that I decided to research for a really, good mattress. Between the reviews and the lifetime warranty, I decided to give WinkBed a try and am I ever glad I did. What a huge difference in how well I sleep, how comfortable I am all night long and how I feel upon getting up after a night of sleep. My only regret is not getting one a lot sooner. At least one friend has already purchased one also on my recommendation and they too love it. So thankful for this quality product!!

Wonder Bed!

Prior mattress was memory foam - like sleeping in an oven! We purchased the Softer mattress along w/Cool Control base (genius invention!), & my quality of sleep is so much better! We liked the mattress so much we bought a second one for our lake house. Other than the temperature issue, the most noticable difference is that we're aware of more motion transfer w/our Wink bed than we were w/memory foam. But that's trivial when compared w/improved quality of sleep overall.

A Dream

I did a lot of online research to replace my very old Stearns and Foster mattress. I thought I wanted to try the memory foam mattresses that come in a box due to the low price point and good reviews. My research steered me toward a more traditional mattress for my body type and sleep style. I settled on a Winkbed. The reviews helped me decide on the softest version. The delivery company lost the 'base' but I asked them to deliver the mattress anyway. I put it on my old base and waited a week or two for the new base to arrive. I found the mattress to be excellent, but too soft for me. After waiting for the mandatory thirty day trial period to pass I paid $49 to swap out that mattress with the Luxury firm version. I experienced very little of the 'off gassing' I had read about. My first impression was that the mattress was a little too hard for me. I have now spent five months sleeping on this mattress and I can state very conclusively that it is by far the best, most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. It has 'broken in' nicely. There are no impressions on it from where I sleep. It is not too hard at all. It is silent. No sounds, no squeaks, not springs making noises, etc. It is crazy comfortable for activities that consenting adults sometimes participate in. I tend to sleep 'hot' but have not found this mattress to heat up on me. I sleep under a down comforter year 'round. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. It is more expensive than other 'box' mattresses, but far less than other luxury brands I've tried at traditional stores. Very, very happy customer.

Generally, the mattress met expectations for support and different feel than previous innerspring mattress. However, the one thing that seems annoying to me is the length. I’ve been sleeping on king sized of all types for over 50 years,and the Wink appears to be shortest of all. It does not fully support my legs when stretched out and thus impedes circulation resulting in feeling soreness in legs when awakening. I called to discuss and did not receive any useful information. I think I got slightly shorted on this mattress. My height 6’ 0”.

Best mornings since I was a teenager!

We were in desperate need of a new mattress for our painful backs. My boyfriend had seen the purple bed advertisement, but after realizing it was more of a marketing scheme with questionable quality, we began our month long delve into the mattress world. We narrowed it down to the Saatva or Winkbed (we tried the bed in a box route and it didn't go well), and went with Winkbed given the interesting technology, good reviews and they seemed like a company that cared. Ordering was super easy. We called to order to get the $100 veteran discount (my boyfriend's back is so bad due to jumping out of planes in the military). They did not try to sell us anything, it was cordial and to the point. Winkbed contracts out for delivery, so I cannot blame them for the lack of communication we received from the delivery company. The tracking was not updated and we did not receive a call saying they were coming to deliver (good thing my boyfriend works at home on the ranch). We got the mattress all set up on our box spring from Serta, and it is tall like many people mentioned (I like this though). This mattress is FIRM on the first night (we purchased the soft bed). Within a week though, it was breaking down to a "softer" feel. This mattress is not one of those melt in bed types (I tried those and they felt awful by morning). This mattress is one where you roll over in the morning and your back pops and it feels amazing!! It may not be super comfy, but it's supportive and I feel like I can move again instead of waking up stiff. I used to go to the chiropractor every 4 weeks. I am currently on week 9 and still doing pretty good. My only concern with this bed is that it has a slight sinking feeling when my boyfriend and I spoon in the middle (my boyfriend and I are around 130 and 180 pounds for reference). This is not a problem now, but I'm a little worried how this bed will hold up over time. The edges are great and firm though. We are at the end of our trial period, and we have decided to keep it and find out how it holds up!
