Thinking you get what you pay for ... we decided to purchase a split king for an adjustable base. In the store we were give a very convincing sales pitch. We tried it out and it seemed promising, plus the trial period was a bonus at least we thought. However, the bed started to give in the middle and is mushy. The trial period was almost over and I wanted to return our purchase. Unfortunately the restocking fee is $1000 per twin xl. So essentially $2000 to return our split king, which we did not want to pay. Especially since we were now deep in the pandemic and not sure what was about to happen with the economy. Since then I have had to start physical therapy to help relieve back and hip pain. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone. It’s overrated and overpriced!!!
This mattress is a huge disappointment. In addition to the support I wanted, the goal was to help keep me cooler at night. In in fact does the opposite. The longer you sleep in one place, the gel retains the heat and it feels like you are sleeping on a heater. It totally fails. I spend all night moving around to a cooler place on the mattress until that gets heated up. Trying to return it.

The mattress almost immediately showed a softness on the sides as if there was little to no support while sitting on it. Also, an indentation in the middle of the bed occurred after several weeks. It took no time at all for me to experience leg and back pain on arising in the morning. After complaining to the retailer, an independent investigator came out, measured the bed and readily found the indentation and proclaimed the bed was faulty and needed to be replaced. We did so with another type of bed which has turned out to be a good choice.
The best sleep I’ve ever had. I’m so happy we have invested in a mattress that makes me look forward to going to bed and sleeping. We originally fell in love with the pillows and it’s hard to sleep without them when travelling ect. We are so happy we have found Technogel.
We were just about to purchase a regular type of mattress with an European top so I would not suffer from pressure points on my hip. And then tried the Technogel Estasi, we were then convinced about it's comfort and quality. I wish we could have bough the Vivo (top of the line from Technogel), maybe next time :)
