We had a tube water mattress that did not require a heating source & was very comfortable but old. We shopped extensively in 2006 and decided Sleep Number was the way to go. Never looked back, one of the best decisions we made and worth every dang penny. The only issue we had, in 2014, was one of the air controls no longer worked properly and with the Sleep Number Warranty provided, our replacement cost was very nominal.

Took me a few months to REALLY dial in my number, but once I got it, best night's sleep I've ever had. Sleeps as good today as the day we bought it 10 yrs ago.

We purchased a sleep number bed over 9 years ago and loved it! The , a year or so ago, we found mold inside. Apparently, there was a recall. We were never informed. The company sent out a brand new bed (after our newborn co-slept with us for nearly 3 years, having developed beginning asthma...). Well, the new bed squeaks with every movement! It is the plastic-y topper fabric that rubs on itself. We sleep horribly! Customer service has been useless. We are going to buy a new bed at this point...grrr...
