Great!

I got my Saatva mattress over a year ago and after contacting them just last week about an accessory item, I felt motivated to write about Saatva. It's "only" a mattress but almost every morning I feel amazed! I felt like I should let people know how positive of an experience I have had overall. It is so comfortable that as soon as I lay down I don't move at all for the whole night. I used to have disc issues that I had been dealing with for awhile, in the past year my issues have really dissipated sleeping on the Luxury Firm. Dealing with customer service was so easy from start to finish. I recently called Saatva and spoke to Eric because I needed a new mattress protector and wanted to see if they had any suggestions, Eric was really helpful in leading me in the best direction. Best sleep I've ever had and you can't beat the price. Thanks Saatva for your service and your incredible mattress!

Wow... I underestimated a great bed!!

I just bought this bed after seeing so many positive reviews and can't believe the results after 2 sleeps!! I had a Seely Posturapedic and thought I had a good bed. My back issues,recent bad sleeps and an agreeing girlfriend gave us good reason to buy a new bed. I have an inflamed disc in my back and have been waking up with dull pains in my legs for the last 3 months, more severe in last 2 weeks. I have had this bed 2 nights and I woke up both mornings feeling progressively better than I have for the last year! I had no idea a bed would make this much difference on my back especially since I owned a "descent brand name" bed. You will be soooo happy if you decide to buy this bed. Very happy customer. I will repost in another month to provide more feedback.

Totally Impressed

I am totally impressed with the company as reflected in the email I wrote to Ed Brians at Saatva: "Dear Ed, I've been meaning to write ever since you called me last week about the bed we purchased...you have restored my Faith! Thank you so very much for your kindness and amazing response to the situation! I don't know who owns Saatva but I am totally impressed with the company as a whole and especially YOU! I hope the owners are aware of the consciousness that you offer and what this means to their customers. For many years I was a very successful leader in MLM until 3 years ago when a very egregious and insane irs audit began and soon after my husband was diagnosed with Parkinsons having to retire and go on disability. It has been a very humbling and devastating experience but what I have learned and gained has been life changing. We always have a choice in how we treat people and the love that we give for, in the end, this is all we have and all that matters. I share this with you because of what our 2 brief conversations reflected about your character and your heart. Those qualities are way more important than what product we sell...success is always about relationships and I thank you for following your heart rather than just the "rules and policies"! simply the best

this is the review i posted on yelp. I just had to write a review for this great luxury mattress company..... Everything i wanted in a mattress i found here.....they dont have a physical store only an internet store but if you want the ultimate in a mattress at a great price you will find it here at more than half off other stores for a similar mattress....i put this under wholesale stores but its actually a retail internet biz...you are cutting out the middle man so you are getting an incredible deal!! I was in search of a mattress that has dual coil for the firm support that i need, but also wanted cushion and comfort....the great night sleep you get at good hotels..... This mattress is it....the european pillowtop makes you feel llike you are sleeping on a cloud. All the cushion they have on the top layer makes the mattress 15" thick. But also, they have the low profile model that is 11" thick for those of you who prefer the more modern look. I also forgot to mention its a green mattress!!.....organic cotton top layer, recycled steel to make the spring coils, foam that is bio-based?? yay!! The BEST Luxury Mattress At Any Price

I can't say I'm an expert with regard to mattresses. When I left a 35 year career as Creative Director for a major Advertising Agency my timing was perfect - the economy collapsed. I took a job with a major mattress chain both selling and creating campaigns to promote certain models. During this period I visited a number of mattress manufacturers and was amazed that the same mattress meant to sell at a retail point of let's say $2,000 would by a simple change of label and damask become a mattress set for an optimum price point of $800. This of course is why it's impossible for the consumer to comparison shop. If you find a mattress you like called "The Cloud" the store you're in is the only store that carries that mattress with that name. Right down the street that very same mattress may be selling for as much as 50% more or less - the selling of mattresses is unfortunately a shady business and the consumer suffers from it. There are a few specialty sleep systems that don't get involved in this - however they are few and far between. Not to mention often not the best choice for many consumers. I'll caveat the following by saying I am a research fanatic. It's in my blood and it drives most friends and family crazy - I am unrelenting and I go over board. That said when my better half and I realized that neither of us were getting a decent nights sleep - except for our two Old English Bulldogs who could doze off on a bed of nails. I was handed my orders to find a mattress and the search began. During a web search I found the Saatva site and book marked it along with the dozen others I had saved. When I finally read through the web site I was struck by two things. 1) The site is brimming with valuable information. There is virtually no what we call in advertising "fluff" or "weasel words" it's the best education about mattresses you'll find. 2) Claims by Saatva are backed up with facts - spec by spec. In fact there is a comparison chart between the Saatva mattress and other high end mattresses. As an example one apple to apple comparison of the Saatva at $899 actually surpasses an equivalent Kings Down Mattress which sells for $3400 Then my phone calls to Saatva began. I drove them crazy I'm sure this is why Saatva has taken out a restraining order against me. What I found time and time again is that each person I spoke with knew the product inside and out. If I had questions about the coil system, the foam densities, the gauge of the springs they were answered - the few times there was a question that couldn't be answered well, because no normal person would ask these questions - but that's not me. I would be transferred to someone who could. Never - ever was I pressured to buy. There is no "one time deal if you buy today" business model. Saatva means "Truth" and that's exactly what you get. Now about the mattress! We purchased the King Size Luxury Firm it was delivered with lightning speed and the plastic wrapping is beyond protective - it's closer to a Hazmat suit. When the mattress was placed in our bed frame - my spouse and I were both struck by how absolutely gorgeous it is. Quality touches abound. From the iron clad strong handles, to the intricate braiding on the sides. The deep tufted upholstered buttons make for an elegant and incredibly comfortable surface. The Damask is pure 100% natural cotton ( I must have forgotten this). But I know the cotton ensures the mattress breathes. As far as support and comfort the Saatva mattress is brilliant. We haven't slept this well, this deeply and woken feeling this good in years, and that's a fact. If you're still reading this novel and aren't comatose by this time, I applaud you. I promise to wrap this up in a minimum of 300 more pages. The common thread between everyone at Saatva is passion. Saatva promises silver but you deliver gold and few mattress sellers, if any can make that claim. There is no single piece of furniture in the world that has such a profound effect on our health and well being - Our Saatva is the best investment we have made in years. Saatva is Zappos of Mattress Buying!

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to recently build a new summer home out in the Hamptons of Long Island. We have dealt with contractors, electricians, plumbers, surveyors, the town board, painters, landscapers...I won't go on but instead, just leave it to your imagination what time it takes and what headaches are incurred in dealing with these relationships no matter how much you want it to go right, there is time, effort and frustrations....do I really have to tell you the headaches of building a house? Simultaneously, we had to line up our furniture thru our decorator. Nothing seemed easy and frankly, building and decorating a house can't be and shouldn't be easy. Yet, the final straw broke my already aching back. My wife breaks the news to me. It could not have been worse. My wife wanted me to take her mattress shopping like in real stores, like in mattress stores and furniture stores. Beyond a horror. Beyond nonsense. Beyond actual lies that insulted us with stupid phony sales . My wife is lying down on five mattresses and before she could get up, the nutty professor aka the clearly high pressure commissioned salesman, is telling us we better buy now or the price is doubling tomorrow. Enough. I am out of this silly waste of time. To the internet. Found Saatva. Found a dream of a company that made our lives normal again. Their site screams award winning. The consumer reviews are unprecedented. Their accommodating, educated and so pleasant representative, Jason made it all so simple when we called with a couple of questions. Jason made us feel like people to be respected and we just loved him! Saatva made buying our 4 King mattresses and 4 twin mattresses so simple and so right. Everything about Saatva is true. All the reviews I read forced me to write this review because it is all true. Our mattresses are so luxurious as our kids and us just can't believe how well we sleep in support yet cushiony comfort. We bought two more Saatvas for our Manhattan apartment. Saatva was efficient, courteous, informative, honest, easy..what else do you need to hear? Their prices? Incredibly honest value! Honest! Yes, honest value!! Jason is my mattress hero. I have no time for mattress shopping in stores. I have no time for writing this review. However, Saatva deserves this review and with all of our years as seasoned professionals in the finance industry, we have never dealt with a company of this caliber. Never! Made in America. So I sound hokey, deal with it. Americans should be so proud that a company such as Saatva is American. I highly recommend you stay at home and shop at home for your mattress at Saatva. The TRUTH about SAATVA

Got my soft luxury queen in last month and if there is a pea under it unlike the fairy tale I sure couldn't feel it. God bless the Ed Brians of the world if there are any more left out there. Best customer service in the world and I work in customer service. Thankfully, Ed and his crew don't sell what I do. From ordering to delivery to the welcome thankyou phone calls this is the best company. I am not a paid representative of Saatva but if they ever move down south to the heat of GA I'll be their first applicant. Thanks again Ed. Oh yeah, the bed? you gotta try it to love it. I sleep on my sides and no more Army pains. What the VA can't fix Saatva can sure promise a good nights sleep.

I love Ed from Saatva

This is a true testimony given by a real person. I purchased a Saatva mattress about two months ago. I was so excited about getting the bedding because I have not slept well in years due to a severe low back injury. Anyone that has ever had back problems even temporarily, can attest that it is difficult to get positioned correctly. You toss and turn all night and when you finally get find that sweet spot, it's time to get up! I dealt with this for years. I dreaded going to bed because I knew it would be a repeat of the nights before. I got my nerves up to order a mattress sight unseen based on the reviews. I thought maybe the reviews were contrived or coached but let me put your mind at ease about this. They do request that you write a review but these words are mine and from the heart. Back to my testimony. I order the mattress set (luxury firm and low profile box spring) with "white glove" delivery. I live in NC so it had to be shipped to a local delivery company. The company wasn't very professional and the delivery was anything but a "white glove" delivery. I called customer service after they'd left and I was immediately connected to one of the owners! A fast talking New Yorker named Ed. He was polite and genial but no nonsense and direct. Ed asked me to tell him what happened. "Look Rhonda, don't you worry about anything, I'm gonna call the delivery company when I get off the phone with you and get down to the bottom of this. I may not get back to you today but you will hear from me tomorrow, I promise." True to his word Ed called the next morning after contacting the distributors with answers. I was impressed with his prompt attention to my problem. Okay, I told you that I was going to be honest. The mattress was improperly handled but Ed assured me that it would be fine and to give it a little time to settle but I wasn't completely comfortable with that. This is a large purchase and I wanted to be happy with it. I was reluctant to call because I'm a little bashful and we've all had bad experiences with customer service. Not knowing what to expect but I mustering up my courage and called again. I spoke to one of the nicest customers service representative ever. I explained my concerns but wasn't ready to talk to Ed about it. They laughed and said okay. Ed was informed that I was to embarrassed to speak him directly. He called me to apologize for coming on strong and that he felt terrible that I was uncomfortable about talking to him about my concerns and that he only wanted to make me happy. He gave me his direct number and also sent me an email expressing his sincerest apologies again! Ed reordered my bedding and I received today! I called Saatva to let them know that it had arrived and guess who answered the phone?, good ole' Ed and he recognized my voice instantly! He is really is genuinely concerned about his customers and not just the bottom line. This goes a long way in customer relations. Saatva could have destroyed my confidence with online shopping but Ed, Joseph, Alex and entire Saatva company treats customers with more of a down home country, mom and pop store feeling. A place where they greet you by name as you enter their store because they truly appreciated your business. It isn't a brick and mortar store were you can see the merchandise but if there is a problem, Ed and the others will make it right. I would ask Ed to marry me but he's taken. :-)

Fabulous!

Saatva's customer service should be the standard for all companies! Friendly, professional, informed, and respectful. They care very much that their customers are happy. Delivery was SO fast; I ordered on a Tuesday and received the bed on Thursday. The deliverymen asked to wash their hands before removing the plastic on the mattresses so as not to get prints on them! The mattress is wonderful. I ordered a twin for my guest room and queen for the master bedroom, both in the 11.5 inch size. The quality of my sleep matched the quality of the mattress - outstanding. I replaced a Tempurpedic mattress, which I have enjoyed, but the feeling of the Saatva is much more luxurious. I didn't order foundations because I didn't need one in the twin room and am using the Tempurpedic foundation in the master. Now, I wish I had ordered the foundation so the set would match. I might order one later, but I can't afford shipping at this time. I spent significant time researching and considering whether to order a mattress sight unseen and am I glad I went for it. No salesmen, no bait and switch, no lying on mattresses in the showroom, and no problems. Great experience, great mattress! I gave Durability a 5 star rating because that's what I expect. If my review changes after more than two night's sleep, I'll submit a revision. I don't think that will be the case.

After copious and rather compulsive net searching, I honed in on this company, possibly because of the professionally done and informative website. I also liked the fact that they offered a reasonably priced spring type mattress with an organic cotton cover, that they claim uses a 'thistle' not a chemical flame retardant-hard to find in innerspring types. Post-order, delivery was unusually fast and easy, and I received a voicemail message on the same day from EVP Ed Brians. It seems the mattress is made of high quality materials, especially for the price point. As a practicing chiropractor of many years, I also noticed the extra foam in the lumbar region (while lying supine)-a nice touch. The customer service of this company is really exceptional, as well.
