Luxury firm - still too soft

So, I've had it since oct 2018. It's at my second house (mountains). Does NOT get that much use. I'm pretty big. 6'1" and 250. My GF is much smaller - 5'4" and 115. She' fine with it. It's too soft and when I re-adjust, there is a bounce/wave. I sink in pretty well. I've messed with frame/supports/ etc. to get more support. It's the mattress. THE GOOD - is that my master is up a narrow set of stairs - and packaged - fit up the stairs. BAD is that given weight of item and size is that it's now semi-permanent. ALSO - it taught just how damn good my tempur-pedic at home really is. THAT is a great mattress. I think I'm being VERY generous w/ 3-stars!

Sleeping well! But surprised at durability/firmness issue.

Generally very happy with purchase and the sleep quality I am getting. However I am surprised at the sinking the center of the mattress has shown over such a short period of using the bed ~1-1.5 years, considering I’m not a heavy nor large person. Have recently started sleeping towards the sides for better/more form support.

Comfortable but sleep hot

Purchased this mattress because it was supposed to be a cooler mattress. It is not a cooling mattress. I wake up hot every night. Support is good andit seems to be a quality mattress. My wife is a side sleeper & I’m a back sleeper. Both of us don’t have any issues with the comfort and support of the mattress.

Absolutely perfect matters for my wife and me

The Alexander Signature Hybrid CalKing Medium / Luxury Firm mattress is perfect for my wife and I. I'm over 300lb and was concerned about getting a firm mattress because of my weight, but this mattress is AMAZING. Both my parents and my in-laws consistently tell us how amazing our bed is every morning they come over (we let our guest sleep in our room) My wife gets extremely hot at night and this mattress stays VERY cool in the hot months. I have some good memory foam mattresses, but they are HOT and I can't move in them. This hybrid mattress is the way to go. My only beef is the bi-fold platform foundation is starting to squeak and my kids are still at home. I'll let you figure out why.

COMFORTABLE BUT.

Within day 120 the boxspring that we paid extra for broke in half. Of course this is after the allowed warranty or free period. The box spring is like a pallet and not sturdy at all. I am very disappointed that we paid extra for it. The mattress is very comfortable and we sleep a lot better on it. I would purchase the mattress again but WOULD NOT BUY the wood box spring.

It has been a huge improvement in our quality of sleep!

We now sleep the entire night through, and awaken rested and free of any back pain, which we had both suffered from for years. It took about 10-12 days to get our bodies adjusted to the mattress, and it has been spectacular ever since.

about our bed, a comment and a question

We love our mattress...but: Comment: We wished there was a way - not by our invention - that the mattress would not slip on the metal base we also bought from Nest. Fixing it so it does not slip around has been a pain! Slips forward, leaving a space at headboard. We have had to create a solution. We think this should be designed by Nest. Question: Do we need to rotate the mattress? We were not given much by way of care instructions. Should we rotate it now? The memory foam is remarkably good!

Firm and comfortable. Very supportive.

This matress has a comfortable pillow top and the firm version is exactly what I needed. I like to sleep on not in the mattress and this was the perfect choice for me. I sleep on my back and side.
