If i'm on the wrong mattress, i will wake up with a very stiff lower back. Ever sense i started sleeping on the Pembridge pillow top mattress, i have not had early morning back pain. This is the best mattress I have ever slept on!!

While the pocketed coil system seems nice, once one of them fail, they all start to fail. I currently have a nice sized crater of failed pocketed coils in my mattress right in the center of the bed. This is even after we had rotated the mattress like the salesman in the Ortho store had told us to do.
Avoid Pocketed coil at all costs.

I found this mattress very much to my liking after reading a book for an hour at the shop. I liked it so much that I tried to find the same mattress in Chicago for my summer home but couldn't find a Orhto store.
I just discovered that it was actually a Summerhill & Bishop mattress
when I spotted the extra tag on the mattress.
I like it so much I'm wasting my time writing this review. Terrific mattress. What ever read a book for at least 1/2 hour while testing.
At first, it will feel good and perfect.
After, 9 months the edges starts to get soft twisting the back while sleeping.
Kept waking up every morning with back pain.
Called Ortho store and they say no warranty without a receipt.
I'm pretty sure if you buy a mattres at other stores they will pull out their computer record and give you the warranty.
They simply don't want to honor it.

Initially this mattress was quite comfortable. Now, just about two years later it is sagging in the middle and lumpy on the edges. Never had back pains on mattresses owned for 10-20 years. Now sleeping is very uncomfortable. When I complained to Ortho from whom this was purchased got NO satisfaction and rudeness. Will NEVER do business with ORTHO again. Would not honor warranty based on a nearly invisdible stain which I can't remember happening since the mattress cover (mine and washed often never showed any staining). Poor product and dreadful customer service on the part of ORTHO.
We needed a new mattress and it was good for the first 4 years. It began to deteriorate after the 4th year. If you have the choice do not buy this mattress. It will not keep up with the warranty of time given. If you need to buy it please keep your receipt.
In May 2010, we bought a brand new Summerhill and Bishop "Norland" plush firm bed. It's not named the "Norland" anymore, it's called something else now. It was one of the medium end ones -- about $1700 for a Cal king. Keep in mind, this was only two years ago, and it sags so bad now, you can visually see the two ditches where we sleep in the bed. I am about 130 lbs., and my husband is about 165 lbs., so we are not heavy people! It was very comfortable at first, and I swear to you, right after the warranty let out, we noticed it started sagging. We even stuck to the rotation instructions to ensure this wouldn't happen! The salesman swore this was one of the best beds out there for the value. If you ask me, it's worth about $1. We wake up in horrible pain every morning, and now, after only two years with this mattress, we have to buy a new one. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could give it no stars I would.
