I was nervous about spending so much on a mattress I'd never felt, but I was reassured by the return policy. My husband was very skeptical; he abhors change! But neither of us would ever go back. We had a luxury Stearns & Foster pillow top mattress before the Alexander Signature Hybrid. I felt every move of my restless sleeper husband, and I consistently woke with aches and pains from my arthritis with sheets kicked off because it would get so hot. On this mattress, I sleep solidly through the night. In any position, your neck and back feel supported, and the temperature is just right. If you're debating whether to click purchase, go for it!

This may be particular to me, but I was hoping for a bit more firmness from this hybrid mattress. I do love the soft, plush outer layer. It is very comfortable when you first get in, and it has relieved some pressure-point problems I was having with my old traditional spring mattress, but I still have back pain issues at night and need to frequently re-position myself because I often feel as though the support is not quite firm enough.

It took a little while to get used to, but my wife and I are are now happy with the bed. Our old pillow-top mattress had broken down to the point that we were both experiencing back pain in the morning on a regular basis. This mattress has resolved that for us both. I do find that it sleeps a little hot though for myself. Overall, I'm satisfied and would probably buy another one.

We love our mattress...but:
Comment: We wished there was a way - not by our invention - that the mattress would not slip on the metal base we also bought from Nest. Fixing it so it does not slip around has been a pain! Slips forward, leaving a space at headboard. We have had to create a solution. We think this should be designed by Nest.
Question: Do we need to rotate the mattress? We were not given much by way of care instructions. Should we rotate it now?
The memory foam is remarkably good!

The edge support of this mattress is completely lacking. After I rolled off the edge twice, I sought warranty support after 8 months of a 1 year warranty. It was flatly refused by the company because, although the edge deflected by 4 inches on both sides, the company's requirement was that it deflect substantially when a broomstick was placed on it. After my warranty claim was denied, I rolled off twice more and wound up in the Emergency Room. So a mattress designed to support two people must show that it sags at the edge when a broomstick is placed on it? One must conclude that the company's warranty is a cruel joke.

Very satisfied with my first 9+ months of sleep on my Alexander Hybrid bed. It is the perfect firmness for me, a nice balance of softness and support.
I have it on a 'Nomad Plus' bed frame/foundation, a solid wood base with slats spaced 3" inches apart and no box spring. Made in GA. I also am extremely satisfied with this product.This is an excellent foundation for the A. Hybrid bed.
I think the only downside for me is that sometimes it sleeps hot. I'm a 6' 185 lb. athlete that sweats a lot, and this mattress can get hot during the summertime in Denver.
Overall I would highly suggest this bed to a friend, as it has given me close to a year of comfortable sleep.

Contacted customer service just a few days after the 90 day free trial. I had been mistaken in thinking the trial was 100 days. Found mattress too soft and it was bothering my back. There was no budging in letting me return mattress. Disappointed that they would not work with me.

I was super excited about this mattress after reading all the reviews online, but when I finally got to spend a few nights with it I realized that it wasn't the one for me. It's far too stiff causing back pain when I wake up in the morning. I'm 165lbs male and I recently started sharing a bed with a partner who feels the same. I had to buy a 3inch memory foam topper to make sleeping bearable. I only had it for a year but I am ready to try a different mattress.

I had a hard time choosing which mattress to get. I finally choose this one and it has served me well. I sleep very well most nights and rarely have trouble with pressure points. I would be comfortable purchasing this mattress again.
