I feel like I was scammed. I paid $6K for this mattress and it is one of the worse beds we have ever owned. Of course, it was ok for the first couple of years. Other than the pump dying and needing replacement it was ok for the first couple of years. The quality of the pump unit is very poor we are unit #3. I am an electronic engineer so I have some idea of what I am talking about.
The pump is loud as it kicks on and off at night. The bed leaks air so it wants to kick on and off all night. We end up unplugging the bed most nights. The mattress has a definite indent in it where I sleep. The adjustable frame is also garbage and one corner slants towards the outer edge of the bed. Just overall a big piece of garbage especially for the money. Lasted the un-prorated warranty period and then went downhill fast. I am going to file a claim with the BBB.

I think it is way too soft as I wake up stiff as a board.
i don't think this mattress is suitable for me. I do have silent GERD but with the head up slightly I slip all the way down with my feet hanging off of the bottom. It doesn't seem to break at the right point. also, I am wondering if it is too soft, because I wake up stiff all over. I have noticed that it seems to sag around me in the middle...way too soft. I am mostly a side sleeper. But our son bought these beds for us; and apparently this was not discussed. I slept for a week on a hotel bed in NYC and did not have the gross morning stiffness. I am wondering if I can get a harder mattress. Can another brand be used with the current piping, etc.? It does nold the air pretty good. It came in a box literally destroyed and we could not even reach anyone to get any help. They brought in and said they were not allowed to set it up. We are 77 and 79 and needed some help but our son lives 400 miles away. What a waste of his money. But we dodn't want to hurt his feelings so I keep on suffering every morning. I even have trouble going to sleep on it. so I usually fall asleep in a recliner and then move to the bed.

I assisted a patient of mine who is paralyzed from MS and is unable to reposition herself once in bed. She had tried 3 expensive mattresses with unacceptable results. I researched the web and found habitat air beds that had a 365 day return for refund policy if not totally satisfied. The owner/manufacturer has gone way beyond the initial refund policy, The consumer recently contacted the company when her back began hurting and she felt the foam was not as supportive as it had been. They responded by sending new foam at no cost to her. Try putting that next to a 30 day return policy and a prorated warranty.
We ordered the top of the line bed and can't say enough good things about the quality, price and customer response that we have experienced. The price was way more affordable than any other airbed we priced but the quality is in the components.
The bed arrived in a large box and required about 45 minutes of assembly using two people. I was unable to find the directions until I came to the bottom of the box but their web site was very helpful and we were able to reach the owner by phone!
My client hasn't stopped raving about this bed since it's arrival over 3 years ago. They should be proud of their product. We feel it was money well spent to get many night's of restful sleep. She often says to me," bed is the only place where I am free from pain, I love my bed". When a person can no longer adapt themselves, they need a bed that can adapt to them, with a push of a button!
