Not Plush

First off, we love this mattress. Went from a queen serta pillow top, to a king haven pines plush tight top. Was tired of the pillow tops sagging. The one negative is that I wouldnt call this mattress plush, more of a luxury firm. We were expecting it to be much more plush. Took about a week for our bodies to adjust to mattress. Almost three weeks later have been sleeping great. I would recommend this mattress so far.

Like sleeping on concrete..

Don't let the pillowtop fool you!. Soft at first but support material is like sleeping on concrete causing severe back pain. Worst mattress I ever slept on! Now trying to work with the store and their exchange policy.

Nope.

We were at a store buying a mattress for our 4 year old and decided to look around for ourselves as our old Tempurpedic was getting really worn. This model was recommended to us by the sleep specialist based on our body types and sleep positions and preferences, and of all the mattresses he showed us, this one felt the best aside from the expensive latex ones. We purchased on impulse, buying the same day because it was on sale. I am a very curvy female side sleeper who likes SOFT beds, and this was supposed to be the softest ("most conforming") in the store. The new one that was delivered was as hard as a rock and after two weeks, I wanted to exchange. My husband liked it so we decided to keep it longer and see it through the break in period. We are two months in and I now have femoral nerve pain shooting down my leg thanks to this torture contraption. We have one of the "expensive latex ones" coming tomorrow and I've been counting down the number of "sleeps" left like a child before Christmas. The top layers of this bed do feel somewhat soft and comfy, but the springs underneath are hard and do not indent to allow your body to align correctly. This might be totally fine for someone who's a back/stomach sleeper or who has a straighter frame, but even my no-hipped husband has decided he also hates it and it's causing him pain. I will concede that it could be that we've been sleeping on a Tempurpedic for many years prior to this, but we're done with innersprings forever.

If I had known how heavy the mattress was, I might not have bought it. It is very hard to change the sheets because it is heavy to lift the corners. You don't think about that when buying a mattress. You are more concerned with the feel. I don't think it is necessary to have it be so thick and heavy to be comfortable.

Look forward to bedtime!

We have had the Maddie Luxury Firm for about 4 months and although it took some getting use to, I believe this mattress to be the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. It has completely taken away any back pain I was experiencing with our other mattress. This mattress is firm, but not too firm, and you sort of settle in to it after laying on it for a couple minutes and it actually contours around you, due to the memory foam part of this mattress. Another upside that my wife loves about this mattress is it sleeps very cool, unlike most memory foam mattresses, due to the Platinum Ice Memory Foam that is used. As for me, it is not the type of mattress that you might lie on and say, wow, this is the one,..however, given a little time, this is a mattress that is now giving me the most restful night sleep i've ever had. I would definitely recommend.

Too soft and now have back problems (herniated disc, etc)

I was talked into getting this mattress by the sales associate and the "sleep test" at the store I bought it. Ultimately I kept saying I like a firmer mattress. I did receive my new bed frame until nearly 60 days into my return policy so could only sleep on my bed for about 30 days before the return policy was obsolete...which wasn't enough time for me to know that the mattress is terrible for my back. I have had back issues every since getting the mattress and now have to buy a new mattress because of it. I will surely not be going back to Sit N Sleep for their "sleep test" again or to buy my new mattress. I should have stuck to what I know.

I have never had pain while I sleep until I started sleeping

The mattress looks beautiful but for some reason it made 120 lb body ache every day..almost all day. I didn't put the connection together until I went out of town and slept in another bed. My back to not hurt the entire time I was out of town. The first night I got home and slept in my mattress again I woke up the next day and misery. I've never in my life experience anything so awful.. I don't have another $2,000 to spend on another mattress so trying to figure out what to do with this one.

First night was great!!

Was previously waking up throughout the night, and very hard to get up in morning, first night woke only once was able to get up feeling rested!! Some warmth, nothing dramatic...normal amount. Noticed when I was on my stomach, my knees were perfectly formed into mattress allowing full length of legs to rest on mattress. Memory foam recovers almost IMMEDIATLY!! Absolutely no hip pain at all.
