what a great bed....never have i experienced such DEEP, restorative sleep like this bed gives.....you wake up feeling totally refreshed and rested, and i never need that noon nap anymore...took about 5-6 weeks to get the bed (as they have to hand sew and Tuft it )....it is the MOST beautiful handmade bed ever! 9 inches of wool in the bed and a healthy 4 inches in the topper....quality is second to NONE...i have NEVER slept this well in my life...wished i had bought this many years ago! some bad reviews about the owner...ignore them...i called and personally talked to Susan the Owner, and ordered from her and she gave me extra $200 off....so bed was $1899.00 total....research, you won't find a better Wool Bed out there...and, the cheapest price by a mile!!!....and their Wool Pillows are STUNNING work too!!!...loving my 100% WOOL bed, pillows, comforter and mattress pad!....
As a small business enthusiast, I visited the Wool Bed Company to see the operation. The organic wool arrives in a large bale and clearly has not been chemically treated whatsoever. It is first carded through a machine from the 1940s and prepared for mattresses. All the machines are electric and the process is organic as it comes. The employees see the work start to finish. This is not amazon, so you will not receive your product in 2 days. But the anticipation is worth it! I am laying on a standard topper on a wool mattress and I am extremely pleased with the products. They are well-made and obviously hand-crafted. Thank you Susan for the product and the ability to see it being made!
Customer service was bad but the product is even worse. I spend close to $5000 and I have had sleepless night and back issues ever since. 2 1/2 years later I have to look for another bed because I can't take it anymore. My husband wakes up with back pain as well. Do not believe the fake reviews because this mattress does not help with back pain but instead causes it. A good nights sleep is very important...you won't get it with this bed!!!
