The middle of the bed started bulging out and the lever system completely cracked, with a hard piece of plastic or metal poking out from the side. I made numerous calls to Robin and the owner of Strobel who completely ignored me. Finally after almost 1 year, I was told I had to disassemble the bed myself and they would send a new set of levers for me to try to assemble and completely "rebuild" the mattress. I had only owned the bed for approx. 3 years and my husband and I are both very slender. There was no reason for the bed to fail and the lack of response, then the inappropriateness of the mfg. not standing behind the warranty was a nightmare. I had purchased several beds from them in the past for interior decorating purposes, and would have thought they would have valued my business, but they obviously did and do not. Unless you want to be responsible for build a bed yourself, I would pass on this Company's products.

Had a problem with the sides sagging and hanging down. They sent a replacement part. After the repair the sides started to sag and hang down again. Sent them more photos and more explanations and I was told the owner would contact me. He never did. After several emails and phone calls I gave up because they would not respond back. Would be great if this website had the ability to up load photos for people to see.

This mattress got hard and they replaced it and the new one got hard ,cracked and is leaking and not even a year and my distributor says that they ain't going to cover it so i am going to to scream off the roof tops how crappy they are I m fighting with them right now With the water bed doctor. I have spent the last 11 months trying to get this company to stand behind their warrantee. i have now been told that they will give me a discount. this matress was less than 6 years old and sags two inches. crap product and crap company. don't do it! not worth the stress.
