Seemed very firm in store to both me and hubby, but in a couple of days it was too soft. Not good if you need firm hip and low back support. I get up with low back pain and spasms, stooped over for several hours waiting for ice to calm the pain. I've not had one good night's sleep in the 30 days I've owned this mattress. If I could return it, I would in a heartbeat! We bought 2 twin sets. Both mattresses now have a dip in the center from body weight and we are not hefty types. Don't be misled by the salesperson who tells you all mattresses are the same these days, or that this one sells like crazy. It sells because of price, but do yourself the favor of spending a couple of hundred dollars more to get a higher quality bed. All beds may be constructed with individual coils, but the quality of materials cannot be the same. I will need to replace this mattress in the next few months.
