I was stoked on this mattress when I first bought it. I paid twice as much for it as I did on my previous mattress, which was also a memory foam. It started out firm and comfortable but after just a couple of weeks it started to lose that firmness. I've had it about 3 months now and it sinks when I lie on it and I wake up with a sore back. The warranty says that they will replace it if it loses more than 1" of it's height. Well, it's still 12" when I'm not lying on it; it's only when I'm lying on it that is sinks down. I'm pretty disappointed and thinking that maybe I should have paid twice as much for the Tempurpedic.
Great bed - I like firm beds. My husband thought he would not like it because of its firmness but after a couple nights he noticed his back felt better. We have had the mattress several years and think it is the best mattress we have ever bought. Just bought another one for our guest room.
Had mattress for 3 days and we are unable to sleep on mattress due to toxic chemical smell. Our entire 2nd floor reeks of the petroleum smell from the Ortho Avant Eclipse Mattress , Ca King. Called salesman and his response was he had never heard of such thing. Reviews on line paint a much different story . Ither he is lieing or he should have known . Invited him to our home to smell for himself . He declined . Going to store to demand new mattress that does not reek of toxins .
