We had this mattress for over 20 years and it was always comfortable. I felt bad getting rid of it because I got a new mattress. I loved the integrity of the Gold Bond Hartford Back and body support brand. Great mattress!
ONE YEAR LATER and the bed began sinking in the middle. Their excuse "we no longer make that model" and "cannot replace it or refund you". ONE YEAR?!? WHERE is that guarantee they so proudly claim?
Iv'e had this mattress for 21 years. Still comfy but has exceeded it's lifespan. Sagging in the the middle, suspect coils have reached life expectency. Going to replace this mattress and box spring with another Gold Bond.

Very disappointed with this mattress. Began creaking like an old bed after 1 month! The sides have lost support and sink when you sit on the bed. You can feel the springs through the sides. I have flipped and turned the mattress as instructed. I weigh 160 lbs and the bed is already saggy after only a few months. It is no longer comfortable to sleep on. I would never purchase any Gold Bond mattress again.

My friend (of 80 years old) gave the above remark concerning her nights sleeping on this mattress (in a nursing home setting) for a month and a half. She wanted to buy it for her own use at home.
I tried it for only a few minutes and immediately fell asleep. I am on here today trying to find out how to buy the complete set for myself.
I would definitely recommend this to everyone over 70 years.

Within 3 weeks of the mattress being delivered it sunk in on one side and humped up on he opposite side. Gold Bond has done NOTHING to correct this issue and claim that they do not make defective products. Their warranty is a joke. We have been pursuing this issue for over three months with NO results. They keep telling us that it must be something that we did. This mattress is TRASH and I would not recommend a Gold Bond mattress to anyone.
This mattress does not have a firm edge and my tailbone seems to sink when I sit up in bed to read, movement is difficult. It feels as though I am sleeping in a hole. The worst part is its breathing qualities, I wake up during the night soaking wet and feel as though I had been sleeping in a swamp.
Not important, but I have a ten level spinal fusion and my mattress is very important.

While still relatively comfortable, I need to replace after just 8 years due to body impression / dents. I’m 5’8” and 120 lbs and turn the mattress frequently. Disappointed as I really loved it when first purchased. Would prefer to have a mattress with straps to make turning and flipping easier for my arthritic hands.

I love this mattress, I am sleeping much better since I'm comfortable and fall asleep faster - it's firm but not hard - the quality of the construction seems to be first rate too - even the foundation is well made...I am so glad I found this two-sided mattress after a horrible experience with a one-sided one - I expect it to last a long time!
