This mattress was bought second-hand, but in very good condition. I needed a firm mattress, and this was rated “extra firm.” I have chronic lower back pain, and my hope was that this newer mattress would help with that. Truth is, I still wake up stiff and sore after sleeping on this mattress, although I manage to s through the night without waking up. While this mattress hasn’t really improved my back, it certainly hasn’t made it worse. Btw, I sleep mostly on my side, sometimes on my back.

I purchased this mattress for our master bedroom. I had tried the sleep comfort, tempurpedic, stearns & foster, etc. This is BY FAR the BEST of the BEST!!! It is soft while still firm, it is not hot at all, it supports all the way to the egde. It is thick, but I love it that way. It adds an elegance that thin mattresses dont. You don't need a box spring since it is latex. It can do directly on the floor ot on a buncky board or platform bed. This is the only bed that has not hurt my back. I waited a year to write this review since the positive ones that are only a few days or weeks old mean nothing. This has held up and gives the same wonderful sleep that it did a year ago. I did manage to get it on sale and only paid $3699 for it. It retailed for almost $5000. Well worth the money!
