Well made but not a good fit for us

We came to Winkbed from an Ecoterra medium latex/innerspring hybrid that was a year old. I (5'7 and 125 lb back sleeper) slept great on the Ecoterra, but my husband (5'10 155 lb back and side sleeper) wanted something slightly firmer as his back was often sore due to the amount his hips sank in. Winkbed sounded like exactly what we wanted in all the reviews - 'like a luxury hotel bed', sleeps cool, good responsiveness... except to us it turned out to be none of those things. Supremely well made, but way too firm for us both even after over a month. Wake up very sore, no longer sleep through the night due to discomfort, and I am always cold but find this bed very hot. Also, was hoping for springy, but this mattress is just kind of solid and unresponsive. I think it would be a great bed for heavier people and those who like quite firm beds and a memory foam feel. I will mention that after only 3 weeks we had very noticeable body indentations in the top comfort layer which was a surprise. I am hoping they honor their return policy and will be trying something else.
