This bed breaks backs

When my husband and I purchased this bed we bought it because of all the great things we had heard about it. After the initial break in period the bed became increasingly hot. The warmer we got the more we sank into the bed and the hotter the bed made us feel. Now when we sank into the bed we were unable to move and change positions while sleeping therefore we would wake up with terrible back pains and shoulder pains. My arms are constantly falling asleep because I sleep on my side and I can not roll over to change my position without fully waking up. I do not recommend this bed it is too hot and does not give any support for anyone.

Pros:

User also said: There is not much good to say about this bed.

    Cons:

User also said: It's hot, when you sink into the bed the warmer the memory foam gets the more you sink. The bed frame is very noisy. You can not move to another position without great difficulty.

i agree with kim from texas about the ""classic bed". i was so dissapointed in that bed. i had waited for a long time before i made my decision on it and that made it even more dissapointing. i talked with the dealer about it, but it was like nothing we can do it's yours now. i will never buy another tempur-pedic bed again. barb from greenwood in.

I'm surprised about these comments. I do not find the mattress overly warm, and I find it amazingly comfortable (as does my wife). We consider it worth the extra $$$ we spent on it. I guess it's a matter of personal preference.

Purchased the Allura bed 3 weeks ago. The bed isn't hot at all. I did buy the protect a bed luxury mattress protector and dream fit 5 degrees bamboo sheets. They are suppose to help you sleep cooler. Am a side sleeper. Love my new bed. Have herniated L4/l5 disc. Back is getting better. So far am very happy with my purchase. Was considering the cloud lux but felt the Allura gave me better pressure relieving support.

I also find the bed hot . Also very difficult to turn over without waking up. You can now buy a cel cooled model so I guess a lot of folks slept hot..

I sweat way too much in this bed. I wake up soaked in sweat. I need to lose weight.

We purchased one for my son's room about 5 years ago and returned it in 24 hours! I layed down on it ONCE and it felt like I was digging myself out of a hole in trying to turn over! No way...I want a super supportive inner-spring that lifts me up and supports me on it's surface, not buries me in it. I may spring for a Schiffman the next time I get a new mattress.
