We purchased the Chateau Cashmere on the third try from the Stress O Pedic company. The first 2 mattresses were horrible and had body impressions on the first 3 days. We couldn't return the mattress for a refund as they let us exchange it twice. The Chateau Cashmere was pretty good the first year but now after exactly TWO years there are body impressions in the Euro Pillow top that are giving me backaches. We were told that the Euro Top wouldn't develop body impressions like a regular pillowtop.. I wanted to buy a Latex mattress at the time we bought the SOP but none of the local dealers carried latex. So now I am in the market for a Talalay Latex mattress but I see that Strearns and Foster and Sealy both use Synthetic Latex and Englander is the only brand I can find that uses Natural Latex. Does anybody have any suggestions ?? I live in Ventura county, CA.

crown bedrooms in ogden ut does carry talalay latex on own brand name mattress.
they make many other Stressopedic mattresses equally as good for less. your sales person failed to mention that to you
If you read my original review you will see that we tried two other Stressopedic mattresses. When we returned the second one the salesman admitted that it was a bad mattress. I asked why he sold it to us and he said he's not supposed to badmouth a mattress..just sell it. We finally bought a Stearns and Foster mattress from the Sleep Shoppe and it's been fine so far. When we were looking for the replacement mattress to the Chateau Cashmere I complained to a sister store of the Mattress Warehouse and they said I should send the mattress back to Stressopedic and they would stuff it firmer for me. I replied that if they couldn't build a mattress to last more than a year in the first place why would I trust them to fix it. The Stearns and Foster latex combo has been fine, it's firm and gives good support. BTW the cheaper Stressopedic mattresses were really soft and had no support... we did try all of them and I don't know how that company stays in business. I guess most people can't afford what we had to pay for the Stearns and Foster and go around with backaches all the time. I also feel that all mattress companies are making business for themselves by selling mattresses that are not able to turn over so you only get the support on one side of the mattress. But I guess we have no choice :(
My wife and I have owned several mattresses from Stress-O-Pedic and have been extremely satisfied with their products. We presently own the Cashmere which we purchased in 2011 and it has been a great purchase . We are not small people and appreciate the solid edge support. I would not purchase from the store I bought from again but would say that the products from Stress-o-Pedic have been superb as well as an excellent value.
I have bought Stress-O-Pedic Mattresses for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with their products. Not spending 5k on a mattress from a major company to get the same feel as a $1499 mattress from Stress-O-Pedic has been good for my budget as well!
