DON'T BUY IT!!!!

We received our first Spring Air Queen Midnight Trance mattress and box spring on 10/23/13. 2 days later when I made the bed, I noticed there were "dips" on both sides of the mattress where my husband and I sleep and a "mound" in the center. I pulled everything off the bed and ran my hand over the depressions and it was not my imagination. I thought that the depressions would rise after an hour or two since we had just gotten up. They didn't. I took photos of the mattress and visited the salesman where we purchased it and he was very surprised. About an hour later, CS from the store called me and agreed to exchange the mattress for a new one. The new one was delivered on 11/5/13. After a couple of days, I again noticed a slight depression and as the days went by they got deeper. I did a string test and the dips are just slightly less than 1 inch (after 3 weeks). My husband and I are not large people and there is NO reason for this type of depression in a mattress after 3 weeks. Our previous mattress was 7 years old and in better condition when we got rid of it to downsize from King to Queen. Customer Service told me that since the depressions were less than 1 1/2 inches, this was not a defect. We obviously have different definitions of "defect." Today I am returning to the store to invoke the 30 day comfort return policy and will purchase a good brand this time. Unfortunately, I may have to pay a return fee and shipping on the new mattress. I intend to make sure everyone I know hears about this company, through Facebook, Twitter, My Space and every other avenue available to me.

Cons:

  • Return Policy
  • Surface Integrity

We had a spring air for six years and had to replace it. It got very saggy and lost support. It was very disappointing because we paid about thirteen hundred for it on sale. We complained but the warranty is a joke. They come and measure it and say it is fine. It means nothing to them that it is very uncomfortable. We now have a Simmons Beauty rest and love it.
