Worst mattress we ever owned

Sides broke down after five years so that we can only sleep in middle of bed. We paid $3500 plus tax for this as it was touted as the best thing going. The store, Robb and Stuckey chain declared bankruptcy and closed a few months ago. I would never buy another one of these overpriced, over hyped , Low Quality mattresses.

Pros:

User also said: As touted for 48-60 months

    Cons:

User also said: After 5 years, mattress collapsing along both sides. Repair must be shipped to Texas from Florida at our expense.

i too purchased a C/W mattress from Robb and Stuckey and am having the same issues, after several months of sleeping on this expensive mattress I roll to the middle of the bed. i have not had a decent night sleep in over 5 yrs. Not sure where to go or what to do with this issue. after reading all the reviews, it seems the company does not want to stand behind its product. Perhaps we should have a class action suit filed against Spring Air. I am a single petite woman and there should not be this type of issue with such an expensive mattress. I even purchased a very expensive foam topper thinking it would help, guess what, i am up at 2AM wirting this review. nothing helps, Any suggestions?

We will look into getting it refurbished if there is anyone that does that in the area. Otherwise we will buy a new mattress. Spring Air bought the company that originally made ours. That company bankrupted prior to the sale. I doubt you can get anywhere with a legal action. To do it alone,. the amount of money is too small for any attorney to handle. It would be a small claims court matter. Good Luck and let us know what you decide and the outcome.

I HATE this bed. I too have had my very expensive queen size pillow top for less that 5 years and it sags miserably. I'm going to replace it.

We too have two deep impressions in our Chattam Wells queen bed. The memory foam has no memory at all! From the reviews, it seems that court action and warranties are pointless. Very disappointing. I guess we'll try to get something for it on craig's list and move on..... a higher price tag certainly means nothing when it comes to a mattress. Kathy in California
