I recently purchased a Durafirm Luxey mattress, priced at ₹20,547, from Shivarampet branch in Mysore. After using it for just one week, I noticed that fungal growth had spread all over the mattress. This has caused itching and skin irritation while sleeping. A microbiologist confirmed that the mattress is infected with fungus, and after consulting a doctor, I raised a complaint at the shop requesting immediate action. However, the service has been extremely poor. The technical expert and shop executives, were unresponsive and displayed a rude and arrogant attitude while addressing my concerns. Despite several attempts to reach out for assistance, I received no proper response. When I contacted customer care, the experience was equally disappointing — the representatives were unhelpful and often failed to respond appropriately. On many occasions, my calls went unanswered, which shows a clear lack of professionalism and concern for customers. Such behavior from both the store staff and the customer service team has caused great inconvenience and reflects poorly on the brand’s reputation. They kept saying it was not their responsibility and that only the company would handle it. No one seemed concerned about this serious issue. I deeply regret purchasing this mattress from Sleepwell, as this experience has revealed very poor product quality and customer service.
