Tried the WorldClass Decadence plush pillowtop with latex and PUR foams but it was definitely too soft - especially for my 215 lb husband. Valleys developed where we slept on both sides of our king with a 1 foot wide ridge down the middle. The valleys come back up when you get out of the bed but it is uncomfortable to sleep in them. Sent it back after 30 days (no fees). Then tried the WorldClass Decadence firm pillowtop with latex and PUR foams for about 40 days. The pillowtop compresses too much and still causes my husband to get back aches. I find it is not as bad for me but not that good either after a few hours. I am very concerned that a permanent 1-1/2" depression will develop over time and is supposed to be 'normal'. Also, there is a ridge down the middle of the firm or the plush that noone can explain so I am going to get a different bed this time - not a Simmons. Latex foam should always return to its normal shape even after many years so I really wonder why 1-1/2" compression of the material in their pillowtop is normal. I am not going to get a pillowtop that is more than 2" deep as this may be the problem causing my husband's back aches. He does not usually get back aches and we have slept on many less expensive beds and hotel beds where he did not complain but none had the depth of this 4" pillowtop.

Overweight people should always get a firm mattress not a "plush" as you did. It will definately cause permanent dips if you don't.
I don't agree with the above comment. If materials of quality were used in the layers that the body contours with, the sagging would not occur as rapidly as most endorse. The majority of mattresses are constructed with inexpensive materials. Don't expect longevity with anything that's made to sleep on. Purchase cheep and put it out for the trash pick up every 2 years or even sooner.
I do agree with the first comment to some extent and disagree with the second 100%. People come in different shapes and sizes and we feel things differently. A 50 pound child will have a different comfort opinion of a mattress than a 250 pound adult will and vise versa. You won't always get what you pay for, you will never get what you don't pay for. Every bed will get a body impression just like every tire will wear (if they are being used). To avoid getting a hump in the center of the bed you can use it, It will help the mattress wear evenly. Most coil mattresses of reasonable to good quality will have the same 1.5 inch tolerance for body impression, they also have warranties that will cover such a defect. If a coil mattress has an inch or two of latex it is still a coil mattress and on that note; most latex mattresses have a 1.5 inch body impression tolerance as well. The world class line is a very good value and should last anywhere from10 to 20 years for a typical person.
I agree with the review. I had the World Class Recharge Contender and had the same exact problems. I'm in my early 30's and weigh 135 lbs. I've never had a mid back problem until this mattress. My hips sank into the mattress while my shoulders did not, leaving my spine curved all night. I would be so stiff in the mornings that my first several steps would be painful. 40 days after purchase, 8 hours after not laying on the mattress I took photos of the mattress and there was a permanent visible indentation where I had laid. My boyfriend, who is a thin man, 6ft 160 lbs had the same issues. I don't think weight is the issue here. This mattress simply doesn't offer good support. We exchanged this mattress for a Stearns & Foster mattress and our back pain was gone after one night.
I totally agree with the above comments. The problem is called "canoeing". As you say my hips sank in and the rest of me floated an inch and a half above the rest of my body. I have lower back ache I never had in my life before. I am 135 lbs. My husband is currently under a doctors care for back ache that he never had before. He is 200 lbs. We have only had it 2 months and you can visibly see a depression where we sleep and it doesnt rebound. We are in the process of returning the mattress. The store says this mattress is fine for children. What? We are considering a Sterns and Foster but we are so scared of any new matress after this. I have had a Beautyrst since 1992 and love it and just wanted the same thing in a King. They don't make um like they used too.
