A Nightmare instead of Sweet Dreams

When I first got this mattress it was wonderful. 5 years later I began to have hip & shoulder pain every night & woke up with severe back pain each morning. When I removed all the bedding I was surprised to see an indentation where I slept of 1 1/2". The eurotop that originally made the bed so comfortable no longer responded to evenly to pressure. It remains like new around the perimeter of the mattress but is totally dead where I lay each night (I am average in weight). I have no idea if the springs are also sagging. I bought a 3" latex mattress topper, but it does not solve the problem as the sagging is too severe at this point. I am so disgusted with this brand. I am now stuck with a heavy, huge mattress that is no longer serving my needs.

Cons:

  • Back Support
  • Pressure Relief
  • Surface Integrity

Hi Sharon -- I'm so sorry to hear about your experience here. The good news, if you can call it that, is that if you really do have a visible indentation of 1.5", IIRC that is the standard for making a valid warranty claim on this product, which could get you a new mattress. They will measure this by putting a taught string across the surface of the mattress and then measuring the distance from the string to the bottom of the indentation (with no one on the mattress). So I might recommend performing that test on your own in advance before going through the hassle of filing your warranty claim. I hope that's helpful.
