my wife and i went to a mattressland over labor day weekend and spent 2 hours trying and deciding on the serta i comfort insight model, it was comfortable in the showroom go figure! any way we end up buying the insight because it was in my range, NOT! I was willing to spend more to get a good nights sleep. got delivery of the bed yesterday, the bed is hard as a ROCK and this is the blue model for softness!! it is so bad my wife had to sleep in the office in the lazyboy!! while i tossed and turned all night. i dont see this bed getting softer anytime soon. salesman said it should get softer in time?

Thanks for sharing your review, and we are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied. First, there is going to be a difference between trying a mattress in a showroom and then actually sleeping on it. While the feel of the mattress should not differ significantly from what you felt in the showroom, you are laying on it for an extended period of time. At the same time, your body will need several nights to adjust to a new mattress, especially if you were sleeping on your previous one for a long time. There are several iComfort models and, in our opinion, the Genius and the Goodnight Refined are the firmest, while the Prodigy and Wellbeing Refined are the softest. The Insight is what we'd call a "medium firm" model. From reading this review, it sounds like you may prefer a slightly softer model. You may like the Savant. Please contact your retailer to discuss your options, and let us know how it works out.
