Too hot.

I wish someone would make a cover that would allow the body heat to escape! I have tried many many mattress pads and cotton coverings with only slight relief.

There are mattresses made by other manufacturers that have a special ACTIVE cooling layer in addition to Gel Memory Foam. The Sealy Optimum series is Gel Memory Foam top-to-bottom, but in addition to that, they have a top layer of phase-change material called Outlast, which ACTIVELY draws heat away from your body. This keeps the surface of the mattress 1-2 degrees cooler than the ambient room temperature all night long. Tempurpedic has mattresses which use 3 phase-change layers on their Breeze models, and ALL new Tempurpedic models have 1 cooling layer of phase-change material under their zip-off covers.
