White Water Rafting

Every Sleep Number bed I've slept on, including the one I own, is like sleeping on a blow-up raft. Regardless the setting the bed is not supportive in the right areas. Too firm and it is like sleeping on a board. Lower settings and it sinks in the middle - Note: neither I nor my husband are heavy people. Aggravates allergies, both the outgassing of the syntethic materials and the mold in the chambers.

Pros:

User also said: light weight, easy to change sheets & bedskirts
  • Ease of Care
  • Maneuverability

Cons:

User also said: supremely uncomfortable. No variable support . Horrible outgassing smell when new, concerns about mold in the chambers now.
  • Allergen Resistance

I was seriously considering the top-of-the-line model in my local Select Comfort store until I was given a questionnaire to fill out. The form listed Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Bill Bennett, et.al. as radio resources which led me to question the integrity of the company if they were publicly endorsing people of that ilk. An online check revealed nothing but bad reviews of the product and the service! I'm glad I checked them out first before dropping $4,000 for a big headache! B.P. from Plano,TX
