We should have returned the mattress after a few months. Both my wife and I started having back pain but thought it was other activity’s. Then when we went on vacations we found after a day or two our backs felt better. Then within a few days of returning home the back pains came back. Witn 4 months the side I sleep on had indentations and the center had a rise. When we try to get close in bed We feel like We trying to clime a hill. I am now sleeping sideways to flatten the hump. Because you can’t flip the mattress. We asked sales person which mattress he suggested as side sleepers and I am 6’3” tall 265lbs. This is one he suggested. We are very unhappy with this mattress and it was expensive. Will not purchase Sealy products again.

Well I concur to what the above Review by Lance in Florida stated.. my Wife and I have had our Sealy Posturepedic Chaleigh Plush for exactly one year as we purchased last May 2017. We first felt that this was the bed.. we travel a lot for my Commercial Aircraft Inspection job so hotel beds in most cases started to become a relief from our own bed that we paid darn good money for. Lance was spot on..my wife and I sleep in gullies and for me to roll over while on my side to kiss my wife goodnight is truly a challenge. I say to her, “ hold on honey I have to clmb the hill to get to you”. We cannot literally sleep together as it is either I am in her gully or she is in mine since we have this darn hump in the middle and the back pain is there every morning from this bed and yes it is from the bed not activities ...We are purchasing a new bed today as we cannot stand the back pain from sleep anymore.. and I shouldn’t have to put extra effort in giving my wife a good night kiss.. although I would climb any mountain for her.. this is just plain a defective mattress. And the store that sold us this Mattress does not carry the brand any longer .. go figure .. TJ
A hybrid for us.
Same here!! We each sleep in our own valley. Is this a manufacting problem?
Have always owned sealy mattresses as they gave us the best comfort, however, I concur with the above comments about "gullies", lack of support, back pain & total discomfort. We purchased this bed in 2015 and realized within 3 months that something was wrong. When we approached the store we purchased it from we were told it would cost $40 for a representative to come to the home to "verify" our claims & concerns. We were also told that any sinking in the bed would have to be at least 1.5" or it would be considered normal wear. Basically...tough luck! Since finances are not plentiful, we are both retired, and out of fear of making another wrong purchase, we have lived with it. Most recently we disassembled the bed to see if we could beef up the frame for better support and discovered the box spring was completed bowed out. This mattress set is a complete pile of junk and sealy has become an extremely inferior mattress company. We will purchase something else as soon as we are able & never consider sealy again. Worthless junk.
