Amazing bed - horrendous shipping experience.

I absolutely love this mattress. It is incredibly comfortable and supportive. I was nervous to buy a mattress online instead of through a retailer, but I'm glad I did! However, when I placed the order, I was told that the mattress would be delivered in 5-12 days. A large span, but I figured with the holidays, it would take at least 12. The mattress did not show up for 17 days. Maybe I misunderstood that it was 12 business days or just 12 days to make it and THEN some mystery time to deliver, but that needs to be clarified by customer service more clearly. Secondly, when the delivery men showed up, they reeked of smoke. My entire apartment smelled of smoke when they left and thus my mattress had a musky sent from them setting it up. I know Saatva outsources their shipping, but considering they're an online retailer, they need to vet their delivery vendor more closely. I would recommend the mattress, I just hope that you have a better delivery experience.
