Based on a suggestion from my chiropractor, we purchased this mattress about five months ago. Because I have a 'bad back', we went beyond the 30-day return cutoff, blaming my back and not the bed. This bed has never felt comfortable and my assessment is that it is too soft. The quality is fine and the customer service is great. When I finally called the company, they offered to send a firmer mattress to the tune of $240. We get to keep the luxury firm mattress. The firmer mattress has arrived and it is better but not great. Since we have already invested so much money in this mattress, I am looking at adding a foam topper. If I lay on my back and don't move all night, my lower back is ok. I cannot sleep in any other position on this mattress without tempting the 'Back Fates'. I would dearly love to find a mattress that made me love getting into bed. This is not it. A word to the wise.....keep an eye on the calendar when trying out this mattress. If it doesn't feel good within a week, it's not going to get any better. I should have followed my own advice. I will be trying out foam mattresses for the next several weeks!!

It's a mattress not a surgeon
I talked with the company rep and we worked out a deal. They sent me the next firmer mattress for $240 and allowed me to keep the softer model as well. This mattress works much better, along with help from a leg elevator, etc. I really appreciated the company's assistance with this and they went out of their way to help. BTW, Anonymous, you may be right. I expect more from a good mattress than I do a surgeon since I have even less confidence that back surgery will work!
I am interested in purchasing a mattress through this company. Most reviews were positive so I wanted to go through and find a neg. one and there you were. Ironically, I live in DE too!!! I would be interested in seeing the mattress in person. Don't want to make a wrong decision. Any info from you would be great. Thank Antoinette
Antoinette - in the interim, I have found an excellent physical therapy group and have really improved the condition of my back. I am used to the firmer mattress and find it much more comfortable now that my back is better. The mattress itself is very sturdily constructed and high quality. The company is great to work with, very helpful. I wouldn't worry about making a wrong decision. This company makes it easy to return the product - just keep an eye on the time line!! The only way you can really know is to sleep on it.
Funny. I found the mattress WAY too soft. Was persuaded to give it more time to compress. Still uncomfortable. Wanted to try the firmer model but this was not offered. Ended up with partial refund and had to get rid of the mattress myself.
