I had such high hopes

Last year around this time I trashed my back carrying around my 94-lb dog, who weighs not all that much less than I do, because she wasn't able to walk. Even after her surgery, I still had to absorb most of her weight for a few months. Anyway, I've been in a ton of pain that's worse in the morning, so I decided to get a new mattress. After a lot of research, I decided on the Saatva Premier Luxury Firm. Though I only got the mattress yesterday, it's just not cushy enough for my damaged body. Every one of my curves seems to hurt when I'm lying on the mattress. I did wake up, though, with far less back pain than I'd been having. For me, it's not exactly about the firmness, which I like, it's about the lack of cushiness against my body. Here's the kicker for me: so I bought my dog a nice, thick orthopedic mattress at the same time that I bought myself a Saatva. A few minutes ago I was lying down on her firm mattress and nearly fell asleep on it because it was so comfortable. Sadly, we can't switch beds. Since my dog's surgery last my bed is just too high for her to safely jump into. Now, as much as I don't want to, I'm going to have to test out Saatva's reputedly amazing customer service. (Sigh)
