The pressure point comfort of this mattress is GREAT. The TEMPERATURE of this mattress is HOT! Sweaty hot. Feels like you're sleeping on a heating pad hot. When you're cold, you can add more blankets. When the mattress is HOT, there is nothing you can do to feel comfortable. Be very aware when purchasing a pure latex mattress. The store will not warn you. Ours didn't. Now we're stuck (with a no return policy).

Rebekah, I am sorry you are sleeping hot. It is much more typical for mattresses like ours made that are made with natural materials such as latex, wool, and cotton to sleep more temperature neutral than mattresses made with synthetic materials like polyurethane foam. memory foam and fiber batting but different people sleep uniquely. I know our customer care staff worked with you trying to help you and I know you took several steps trying to improve your sleep. I do not know what effect not having air conditioning in your home plays in this. We typically recommend sleeping environments between 65 and 70 degrees and managing relative humidity to under 55 for a best sleep and care of the mattress. Kurt Ling Principal Posh+Lavish

All foam, or beds without springs, do tend to "trap" more heat inside but, there are some people that simply sleep hotter than others no matter what they sleep on. I've been selling mattresses over 39 years, I would recommend a mattress with coils, so air flows under comfort layers, also a firmer mattress will sleep cooler simply because you don't "sink in" like you would a softer one. Latex is by far the better "quality" product but, comfort is all personal preference. Good luck with your next purchase and stay away from pillowtops.
