I bought this mattress because it was advertised as good for side sleepers, but I found it to be too firm. My shoulder didn't sink in and often experienced pain. I think the two inches of air foam is too little. Three inches might be better. I won't be keeping this bed. It didn't seem to get hot, but that is probably because it doesn't really cradle you or cause your body to sink in. And you need to sink in to get the pressure relief. I'll probably try a Tomorrow Sleep bed next. For now, I'm back to my old system of a Queen-size innerspring mattress with a 3-inch memory foam topper.
