Not Enough Support

We really wanted to love our Love Bed, but after sleeping on it for over a month, we had to return it for a refund. My wife and I found that we bottomed out very badly when sitting or lying on the mattress. This meant that we were sinking way into the mattress, even to the point where we could feel the slats under us when we sat. We are not large people (I'm 150 and she's 115 pounds), so I can't imagine what this mattress would feel like for people bigger than us. The return process was relatively easy, but be aware that it can be a major pain to find a place to donate a mattress. Nest has you find and donate the mattress and then send them a picture of the receipt. We had to search a while to find a local place that would actually take a used mattress and give us a donation receipt, plus we had to transport it ourselves. Not the fault of Nest, but just be aware that if you need to return the mattress there will be a decent amount of legwork on your end. The company was responsive to emails and the refund came almost immediately after we sent the picture of our donation receipt.

Seems like your one star doesn't reflect that you loved working with us. The bed was defective, and we would have liked to replace it.

If it was a review of the company as a whole, I would give 5 stars. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and responsive. However, this is a review of the mattress specifically, which definitely deserves only 1 star. After describing the issues we were having, the customer service rep never mentioned a defect, she simply offered a different model. I imagine the higher end models would have been fine (if we wanted to pay hundreds extra), but I would not recommend the Love Bed to anyone.

That's our starting model, if it didn't work out, I'd gladly swap it out for another model, don't worry about price
