This mattress is very comfortable and medium soft. It doesn't get too hot. It is possibly slightly too soft for me. The memory foam remembers a well around my back, which causes it not to support my back quite well enough, and makes it difficult to back-sleep. The mattress is on the soft side for stomach sleeping, but works well for side or pillow-supported stomach sleeping.

Quick question: what is your mattress on? If it is bowed slats or an older style box spring, that could detract from the awesome support built into the bed.
Hi Joe, It's a double row of bowed slats under a king mattress. What sort of slats, board or box spring should we have used? The salesman told us that any slats would work as long as the spacing was less than a certain distance.

Are they bowed slats?
"Hi Joe, It's a double row of bowed slats..."

That's why. That type of base bends and gives which is why the bed is doing that. Put it on the floor and you'll see the difference. Buy a bunkie board and put it above the slats and it will solve the issue

Did you guys get a chance to try it on the floor? Those bendable bowed slats are giving up to 2-3" and that will greatly affect the support of the bed.
Not yet. There isn't enough room in our bedroom to move the mattress to the floor, and I haven't had a chance to buy a bunkie board. I'm a little confused, too: your website (https://www.nestbedding.com/blogs/news/6780958-what-is-the-best-surface-to-put-my-new-mattress) says nothing about bowed vs unbowed slats, and neither did our salesman. But the breathability requirements suggest that a bunkie board would be a no-go.

Our return page has this information about correct bases: "The mattress must be used on a non-flexible base, slats or box spring that does not give and fits the mattress. An incorrect base can void your comfort guarantee!" Non-flexible. Bowed slats flex. We also have this video available https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvIDfeNfcY0 The blog post you are referring to specifically is about air flow, not our policy page. And bunkie boards are not boards, that is just the name, they are breathable. Your mattress will be fine once you put it on a base that doesn't sag.
