We purchased this P.O.S. mattress from Mattress Giant in 2005. Within 5 months we had them come out because we had deep body ruts that were visible when the bed was made!. At this time they came out and replaced the box springs. After 4 more years the body ruts were so horribly deep in our tempered top that you had to physically pick yourself up to roll over and manually pull yourself out of the bed. After putting up with monnths of discomfort we finally contacted the warranty department who informed us that th 10 year warranty was void because there was a spot on the mattress. (Soda knocked over by the dog!) This King Mattress cost $2700. DO NOT BUY A KING KOIL BED!!!!

This is an unfortunate situation and I am sorry to hear about it. You neglected to mention the style of King Koil you purchases, but I am guessing that it was a pillow top mattress. Pillow top mattresses always end up with deep body impressions and are never popular. That is why the current industry trend for innerspring mattresses are called "hybrids". They use coils as the base layer in the mattress and memory foam, latex and or polyurethane layers on the top. These materials have much less body impressions than the older pillow top style mattresses. Additionally, I wonder if the manufacturer warranty was followed and the mattress was rotated as specified which would cause more even wear to the mattress. Lastly, regardless of what mattress you purchase from any company, anything stained means that a mattress protector was not purchased with the mattress. All mattress companies including, Sealy, Serta, Simmons, Tempur, etc require that a mattress protector be purchased and on the same receipt / invoice as the mattress to protect the mattress warranty. The reason that the mattress could not be brought back into the store is for sanitary reasons. If the mattress had no protector on it any manufacturer would risk an infestation of bedbugs or similar dangers to the whole factory. Again, I am sorry to hear this but it seems that the sales associate neglected to discuss mattress protectors to maintain the warranty and also to inform the customer about proper bed rotation to minimize body impressions.
