Not nearly worth the investment but not a bad bed.

Hastens has an extremely high build quality. Despite the high cost, I believe that most of their models command it for a reason. This was the price of a Camry. The issue is the adjustable bed model is an afterthought for them and is not of the same quality as their other products. I had slept on a medium firmness 2000T in a hotel room and it was amazing. I need an adjustable bed because I have lingering injuries from a bad car accident that require me to sleep in a very specific position. My wife has GERD and sleeps almost sitting up. We purchased a split king anticipating that the experience would be similar to the bed we slept in at the hotel. The best way to describe it is like sleeping in dense pudding. Your body relaxes and the support is perfectly even. It’s a miracle in that way. Half the buttons on the cordless remote don’t work, they were never intended to which is puzzling. The remote is cheap and will only stay together with tape. The box it connects to works most of the time, but every few months the motion of the bed causes the connection to come loose. I have to put a towel down and use a car jack to get the bed up to fix it because it’s not accessible without removing the bed frame it sits in. There is no way to return to the same position twice. Even the cheaper adjustable we had in the past you could set a favorite position. There is a phone app that is supposed to be able to do that but the dealer has never been able to get a phone to connect to one of these beds. I’ll never know. The local dealer experience was abysmal. He had no idea what he was selling us, there were problems and lawyers got involved. To keep the bed flexible enough to adjust, these are softer than other mattresses in their lineup. Beware, they get softer as you break them in and the springs relax. A firm is really a med. The mattress topper constantly slides down and has to be adjusted so it doesn’t bunch at your lower back. It’s twice daily hassle. We regret the purchase but are stuck with it.
