Possible scam?

I bought two twin mattress xl of the Dream Lux LX710. It was the best feeling mattress in the entire store and I did not mind paying the premium price. Being 14" mostly consisting of high-density memory foam, I realized it would have a possible long break in period. After 30 days, my mattress was still as hard as a rock even though I walked on it every day in an attempt to break it in. My wifes mattress had broken in and was soft, but still felt different from the one in the store. It was very uncomfortable and did not support. We went back to the store and laid on the floor models which felt like a cloud. We told the rep our concerns and how neither of our mattresses felt anything like the ones in the store. Long story short, we unzipped our mattresses and took a picture of the layers of foam to compare to the store model. Upon unzipping the floor model we discovered that the foam layers in our mattresses were completely different! I asked for a refund because I no longer trust Mattress Firm's in-house branded bed. We ended up going to another mattress chain and purchased a tempurpedic.
