Previously had a traditional mattress with a pillow top, was happy with it and it was in good condition and it was still pretty new, bought the Douglas mattress as part of an upgrade to king size to accommodate toddlers invading my space. The Douglas mattress felt a little weird at first, it's different from the traditional mattress, but I now take for granted that it's much more comfortable. I still have the traditional queen, now functioning as a guest bed, and I sleep on it from to time. I used to be really happy with the traditional mattress but now when I go back to it, it's unpleasant by comparison, the pressure points (which had never bothered me before) are noticeable after being spoiled with the Douglas mattress.

We are happy you now have more room for your little bed sharers! It is true that it can take a while to adjust to a new mattress, especially if you have never had an experience with foam, but we are glad that time and patience has proven beneficial for you 🙂
