Shame On The Makers Of This Product. Don't Say Your The Best When Your Not. The Mattress Has Two Large Depressions Were My Wife And I Sleep. Sleepy's Is The Seller And They Sent A Rep Out And He Denied The Calim For A Stain. I Guess If You Put Into The Warranty All The Common Things To Happen To Mattress Then You Will Never Have To Honor One. I Hope Someone Reads This And Makes The Right Decision Because Of It. More Money Does Not Mean Better. That Was My Mistake...

We had the exact same experience with our mattress. Will never purchase another Chattam and Wells, hope this saves someone from making the same mistake.

Exactly the same problem with mine. The first night is delightful, but then you find yourself sleeping in a hole. There is no way to flip the mattress and it's heavy. With just one person, it's very obvious because the other side of the bed is like rolling uphill until you sleep on that side for one night. Horrible experience and it was a Macy's closeout, so Macy's would stand behind it. I don't know what a matress protector would do. Never had this problem with Sealy at much less cost, but this felt sooo comfortable in the store.

Returned first set within 12 days of purchase due to the big "sink hole" I fell into. Thought it was just a bad set and had them replace it for the same thing...now 30 days later, I'm stuck waiting on warranty to make a decision while I sleep on the couch as I am now in such pain in my back, neck, and shoulders from this replacement. Yep...who needs one of those beds that sit up so you can watch TV??? Just sleep on a Spring Air for a couple of weeks and guaranteed, one section of your bed WILL BE higher than the rest!!

Wow finally I find some posts about this horrendous mattress set. The Chattam & Wells Giovana with integrated memory foam pillow top. Purchased from Mattressland. We have had all the the same problems with ours and because it was so expensive It has been so hard to justify purchasing a better quality mattress. So much for buying the most expensive mattress in the store. I have had the worst back and hip pain and thought it was just me. I didn't really believe a mattress could cause a person so much pain. We turn and turn this mattress to try and combat the "sleeping pit" but it only works for a few hours before you roll in to the "hole" My husband and I are of average height and build. Shame on Chattam and Wells for not fixing this problem with this particular model. They may have a reputation for fine workmanship and a history dating back to the early 1900's, but from what I have read here it doesn't sound as though "They have a reputation for offering top notch customer service and product value." (quote from http://www.fortywinks.com.au/chattam-and-wells.html) I will be starting my research for new mattress, one from a company who values their customer's health and well being, especially when they spend top dollar for a mattress!

We bought a Spring Air mattress from Boscov's after being told it was a top-of-the-line mattress. Wrong. Sink holes left and right where me lay. Just had a rep come over to measure the impressions - must be over 1.5" Will find out the results. After reading all of the negative reviews again, I feel doomed!

I just got the Luxe IV and can't find info anywhere. I LOVE IT! I have lower back problems and no matter how I have slept, I do not wake up with back pain! Feels like sleeping on a cloud, which I thought right away was going to cause pain.... no! I have found info about the inner springs, but that's it. Would love to know more about the bed.
