I purchased not one but two luxury mattresses from Bowles. One Queen for my mother and a King for myself. Mine was $2200. Within 6 months mine had a dip and my mother's also. It was so bad I had horrible back pain and had to turn around and sleep foot to head until we both up and bought new mattress from mattress and more. Now I have no issues. I did attempt to call and get the problem fixed. I was told the solution would be to pull up the pillow top and place a board underneath then re-sew the pillow top back on. Ridiculous!! BTW: I placed a review on the Better Business Bureau and the Bowles company got them to remove it!!

Dealing with Bowles for 10+ years, there is no way any representative at their store would tell a customer what you just stated. if a customer has an issue, they bring the mattress back to the factory and rebuild it to the customers liking. This is a family owned business, operating since 1975, whose #1 priority is customer satisfaction. They go above and beyond and have taken care of every mattress(very few) any of our customers ever had issues with. And on a couple occasions, have fixed mattresses that clearly had things wrong with them which were not covered in the warranty. Sue Robinson, Furniture Plus Corydon, IN
While I'm glad you've had such good experiences, it is certainly a far reaching statement to say that you are sure no Bowles rep would ever say that. I assure you that this was the response I received from the Bowles rep through the USA Baby store that these mattresses were purchased from. Whether he was giving accurate information is irrelevant, as I would have no other way of knowing his response was incorrect. I stand by my review even as it has been 6 years. I certainly would not waste my time nor receive any benefit from writing an inaccurate review. The response above confirms that there are significant quality issues with these mattresses...they just had a better experience with the service!
USA Baby Store is not a reseller for Bowles so I am confused as to how this issue occurred.
They definitely are not now since they went out of business in my area. However, at that time, they did get some other item (I am assuming the baby mattresses) from Bowles and had the capability of ordering regular mattresses as well. When I purchased my 4 piece crib set and mentioned that I was also looking for 2 adult mattresses, the sales lady offered to order these. So, Anonymous...however polite your comment may be, please make sure you know what you are talking about before insinuating that I am misleading anyone with my review.
