Wish I could have adjusted to the BigFig

I ordered a king mattress & king adjustable base with White Glove delivery. In theory the 'White Glove' delivery should have prevented any serious issues. Sadly, this was not the case. First, the deliverymen had no idea how to assemble the adjustable base & left some parts out. (It'd help if at least one of the delivery people were able to read directions to assemble it correctly & speak passable English to communicate with customers! They should definitely NOT assume that a Caucasian female doesn't understand Spanish while they are saying vulgar & insulting things while smiling like fools at me, thinking I'm just a stupid American who doesn't understand! I understand MUCH more than I'm able to speak so I couldn't communicate with them in their language!) One of the delivery men also sliced a 6-8in slice along the bottom sidewall seam when he sliced open the bag the compressed mattress came in. They didn't even fess up to it, they made sure to put the damaged area opposite from where I was observing them. Then hurriedly scurried out to their truck & took off quickly, even leaving behind their box cutter tools. I found the cut in the mattress after they left when I went to make the bed. Although the delivery process totally sucked eggs, when I saw the damage, I immediately called Big Fig customer service to explain what had transpired. The Big Fig customer svc is TOP NOTCH! They communicated with me regularly & were overwhelmingly courteous, helpful, understanding, generous & gracious. Although damaged, the location of the damage meant I could still sleep on it & try to adjust to the new mattress. I received it 12/21/23 & finally gave up & had to send it back on 2/11/23. This mattress is hard as a rock. I've slept better on the wooden sleeping torture racks in Thailand. For 2 1/2 months I awoke everyday with over the top pain in my shoulders & hips. If you like a VERY firm mattress, this one might work for you. Their INCREDIBLE cust svc & 20yr warranty truly can't be beat!
