Terribgle mattress ; terrible customer service

We bought TWO Bemcos, one for our room and one for guests. The mattress in our room, after only one month is showing "body bumps". The one in the guest room has a strong chemical smell. Still smells 3 weeks later. When we called the plant manager in Springfield, IL He told us to bring the mattresses to the plant and he would make it right. We are seniors--how the heck do we carry two king size mattresses to a town over an hour away? He then said we could "meet somewhere" closer to home-Again, how would that be possible? We did not wish to incur the expense of hiring a truck and labor since the mattress issues were Bemco's not ours. I told him I did not want any adjustments as I felt the mattresses were of poor quality. He began to yell and claim I told him he was a "jerk" and his mattress "sucked". NEVER did I use I those words. I told him I wanted the mattresses picked up and a full refund. He refused. He continued to act irrational, yelling and ranting. I calmly said I simply could not go through the hassle of returning mattresses, then having them returned, and then if I am still unhappy- we go through it again??? I wanted a full refund. I realized that we were getting nowhere and asked for the name and number of the CEO of Bemco. The plant manager hung up on me. I finally got the name and number, but I think it is bogus--I have left several messages and no return call. In short, BUYER BEWARE. If you don't like this mattress be prepared to be treated with disrespect, poor customer service and NO satisfaction. We are seniors. We are out several thousand $ that we could barely afford, and we are getting poor nights sleep. I am really frustrated, upset and angry.
