After several months we noticed that the area where our bodies lay while sleeping was slowly being depressed leaving holes. The side I sleep on is depressed over six inches when I get out of bed in the morning. It slowly rises to about two inches deep. The side that my wife sleeps on has only a small depression. There is a permanent hump in the middle of the bed between where we lay. We called the local store and two representative were sent. A picture was taken and a metal tape measure was placed from the head to the foot of the bed and a measure was done of the depression. So far we have been told the depression is not deep enough and that there was a stain on the mattress. We have been told that the mattress is now out of warranty because of the so called stain. When the mattress was purchased we were told to purchase a mattress protector that has been on the bed since it was delivered. We have requested another visit that we are willing to pay for to show that the so called stain is a design placed at several places on the mattress itself. I have provided pictures of the area that has the so called stain and have been told that we are wrong about the design being there.

Oh gosh Virgil. I'm so sorry to hear that. Sadly, you have just been exposed to one of the darkest pastimes of the mattress industry -- doing everything they possibly can to avoid honoring a warranty claim. The good news is that there are lots of great retailers and manufacturers that care deeply about their reputations and are quick to remedy issues experienced by GoodBed users. We will encourage Badcock to become one of these by forwarding this review to them and inviting them to respond.
Since posting this I sent an email to the main office with pictures that show the so called stain is the aloevera logo printed on the bed in several places. Today I received a call stating that a representative will be sent to do another review. Doesn't matter that the mattress is not a good one unless they refund the cost or apply it to a better mattress.
Another call from the Florida office that informed me that the latest visit proved that the mattress is faulty and a replacement would be delivered on 2-1-2017. We were also told that if we wished to upgrade that we could go to the local store and do this. As we had such discomfort from the Badcock Ledgend mattress we decided to get a Sealy firm mattress. THe local sales representative, Alexandrea, was very nice about taking care of our needs at this time. It is too bad she had to get between us and her supervisor who acted like hr or she didn't care. I believe Kim Harrell, Customer Service Manager in Florida was very helpful with this.
Great news Virgil! And thanks for calling out the people who you found most helpful in getting this resolved!
Thank god you got through to them finally. They have given me the run around and won't even call back to come out and look. Then was told that I needed to call the manufacturer who is out of business. This has been going on for 4 years! I am in Florida too, was Kim in the corporate office? If so, I will give her a call.
Kim Harrell is listed as Customer Service Manager in the Badcock listing on the Florida Better Business Bureau website. She answered my email and called me to let me know investigation was being reopened. The local representatives were very helpful after that. Good luck.
